One of the disadvantages as an american living in europe is that occasionally you come across snide remarks about americans. It’s quite ironic that some europeans are so quick to generalise the US—a country that’s essentially one of the most diverse nations, not to mention that it’s one of the first who shamelessly capitalised (ahem) healthy eating. No one can deny there are unhealthy americans, but the fact is americans aren’t that easy to grasp. And that’s something I’m proudly patriotic about.
